Yes I am a frequent blogger. Every other day is pretty much my focus, but this week... Busy day job, next week a week off so planning for that, Paducah coming up, studying, my week was stuffed. And suddenly a few days passed before I could even think of blogging again. I missed you though!
Not a lot of quilting done, but discovered, on internet while on the way too work, some fun quilt gadgets at CafePress.com.
It is incredible what they have for quilters! Look at this, to keep your hydration level on track. I love the chick... I think I need this one. Worse. I can't live without it.
Or this clock for in my quilt room? It's so bright and happy! Any time is quilting time on this clock!

And for Christmas, I really need these. I really, really, really need them. Really. I learned to love my pajama trousers. Pity they don't have a Scottish tartan in red. Have to have them!

Working at university I am used to dealing with scientists. They can amaze me with fractals, dislocations of atoms and layers of 1 atom thickness. What amazes me most is the periodic table. I never managed to get the grip of that. So I was very amused when I read the blog of the scientific seamstress. Her quiltroom is adorable, but one thing got me going. She has the Periodic Table of Sewing Elements, the periodic table with all sewing terms explained. Loved it! For a bigger picture, click here.

Hope you enjoy it too!
Have fun quilting,

Hi Annemart,
ReplyDeleteLove that Periodic Table of the Sewing Elements! That's something I need to have. I have a Periodic table of the Vegetables on my office wall and it's a hoot.
