As this is only my second post, stay patient. I try to enter some pictures. Getting used to this, but step by step!
Here is the quilt I am working on right now. Well, actually, for quite a time now. Actually a few years. Actually 8. It took me so long to get to this stage, I really must enjoy it! Started the patchwork in 2003 while going to university at night and working during the day. During traveling to and from university the first steps were made. Now the quilt is on my frame to be quilted. Having a busy day job makes it difficult to add quilting to that. But we'll manage. The whole quilt is made by hand, so it will take another year. And my quilting goes very slow, so don't worry. It will be there for a while, waiting for me.
In the mean time also working on some other projects, large and small. Let me promise you to tell you about them later. Some are hardly worth mentioning, however fun, some are growing bigger than life itself. And that's where the fun starts!

Mooie quilt hoor! Het maakt niet uit hoe lang je erover doet om hem te maken, als je er maar van geniet.

Wow! I have done a small broken star block called "never again". I can't imagine doing a large broken star. Beautiful quilt!
